And good design is what fuels me, whether its a page layout, app interface, or well-written sentence. I've spent the last 10 years in marketing, advertising and publishing, and I've enjoyed working with internal and external clients of nearly every type: non-profit, start-up, government, cultural, franchise, blue-collar, recreation. I love a good challenge.
I've lived a lot of great places, from Germany to Texas, but I found home here in the Triangle. I can meet with local clients in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Pittsboro and Hillsborough. If you're outside those areas and would like to meet with me, let me know. Don't worry too much about distance, though. I've kept remote clients happy even with an ocean in our way.
What, you're not convinced yet? Ok, fine. There's a couple schools that think I've got it going on, too. I have a BFA (Bachelors of Fine Arts) from The University of NC at Greensboro from almost a decade ago, and I recently completed graduate work with the UNC School of Media & Journalism, studying Technology and Communication. Most of my web-skills are self taught. All of my ninja skills, too.
Yes! Thanks for asking. I love to learn, I love people, and I love to do new things. This comes in handy when designing, when ordering foreign dishes, and as a wife and mom. I have the best daughters on earth. And here enters the shameless adorable kid pic.
